Open to campus and Amherst Family Center (AFC) families with young children, Dinner On Us (DOU) is a parent education workshop series offered most Monday evenings during the academic year.
Tonight's topic: "What Do We Think About Gender When We Think About Parenting?" with professor and department head Laura Briggs, Women, Gender & Sexuality Studies, and Tom Schiff, Ed.D. director, Men & Masculinities Center, UMass Amherst.
Schedule: Schedule: 5:30pm Dinner in Commonwealth Room in the Student Union, 6:15-7:30pm, Roundtable Discussion in Commonwealth Room/Off Campus Student Center Rm 304, Supervised Children's Activities in the Cape Cod Lounge from 5:45pm until 7:30pm

Dinner On Us (DOU) is a parent education workshop series offered most Monday evenings during the academic year. Undergraduate students may arrange for independent study credits through contracts with academic departments.
DOU workshops are held in the Student Union and include a free family dinner, supervised children's activities, and free parking. It is a unique opportunity for parents and grandparents to participate in educational workshops and round table discussions.
