Student Affairs & Campus Life, External Relations, the Student Government Association, the Alumni Association, and with the generous financial support of Alden Credit Union bring the Mass Impact Day of Service to UMass Amherst. In celebration of the University’s 150th anniversary, this campus-wide event brings students, alumni, faculty, and staff together as we go out into local communities in the Pioneer Valley, Massachusetts, and around the country to help serve local needs.  Community partners around the Pioneer Valley have provided service opportunities for our students including visiting with elders, cleaning up trails, rivers, and community parks, and painting.  In addition, some UMass Alumni will be hosting sites around the country for alumni to come together and service their local communities.

Pioneer Valley Towns who will be impacted by Mass Impact:

Amherst, Hadley, Greenfield, Springfield, South Hadley, Pelham, South Deerfield, Leeds, Northampton, Florence, Turners Falls, Hatfield
