Tickets are $12.00 adults, $10.00 seniors and $5.00 for children (12 and under); available at Jones Library, A.J. Hastings and Global Cuts and at the event reception table.

UMass Professor of History John Higginson is the main speaker for this year's  Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Breakfast.
 
This iconic event celebrates the continued spirit of the Rev. Dr. King and the many that preceded him who have advanced the causes of social justice by the participation and the stimulation of others in the cause and realizing that freedom is not free.
 
The morning festivities begin with reunions over coffee at 8 a.m. in the Amherst Regional Middle School cafeteria with musical selections provided by the Amherst Regional High School Jazz Band under the direction of Ms. Kara Nye. 

Breakfast will be served at 9 a.m., following the invocation.

We we adjourn later to the auditorium for program events. 

The Hope Community Church Choir directed by Taylor Middleton and The Common School Chorus, directed by K.C. Conlan will present  Student Senior Achievement Awards. A Community Citizen's award and a RaDar recognition for the Norma Jean Anderson Civil Rights Award will also be presented.

Emcee duties will be shared by State Representative Ellen Story and State Senator Stan Rosenberg.
