The 2018 Homecoming speaker will be UMass alumna and Black Panther stunt woman Keisha Tucker!

The first 50 people in line will get a meet and greet with Keisha!

Keisha Tucker was born in Boston, Massachusetts and raised in the suburbs. She started taking dance classes at age four, and since then has loved nothing but to entertain. In her early years, Keisha was entered in beauty pageants which led to modeling. . While in school, Keisha stayed busy with other extracurricular activities including softball, gymnastics, chorus and band.

Having always been voted "Class Clown," she knew that she loved making people laugh. At age 18, Keisha enrolled at UMass Amherst.  A theater major, she performed in many university productions, including Trojan Women, and danced in showcases for the dance department. During those years she also began acting, dancing, and singing in shows at Six Flags New England. After graduation, Keisha picked up and moved to Los Angeles where she has had the pleasure to work as both an actress and a stuntwoman, including in Black Panther.

This year we want to get as many individuals, clubs, and organizations involved as possible to create an empowering and unifying atmosphere that translates past just this one evening.

Tucker is not only a graduate from the theater program, but she is using her newfound fame and platform to talk about typically under-represented people and cultures throughout the media.
