After the success of last year's event, the UMass football team once again fields an Alumni Team as part of this year's Spring Game. The game begins at 4:00 pm as the current Minutemen take on an Alumni Team for the first half before moving to a traditional intra-squad scrimmage for the second half. Admission to the Spring Game along with all events during the day are free to all.

The day will be full of activities for UMass football alumni and fans. For the second year in a row, the Minutemen are holidng a Captain's Breakfast in which former team captains gather with the current senior class. Last year's event featured the return of several Hall of Fame players whose impact resonated with players and staff.

There will also be an autograph session with current and alumni players along with a Youth Clinic prior to the Spring Game. The autograph session will begin at 12:30 pm, while the Youth Clinic will run from 1:00-2:30 pm.

Also, football head coach Charley Molnar, an avid runner himself, is offering those who were competing at the marathon a chance to `Cross The Finish Line' at halftime. Runners will be able to take a lap around the field, cross the finish line which will be set-up at the 50-yard line and will be presented a gift on behalf of the UMass football program.
