Music and Dance Department
The Department of Music and Dance presents the Chapel Jazz Ensemble with Thomas Giampietro, director. The ensemble will be performing classic jazz works by Benny Carter, Thad Jones and Neil Hefti as well as new arrangements, including two world premiere arrangements by UMass alumni. The event also features a guest vocalist and a recent UMass alum as a featured soloist.
The concert will also be live streamed via YouTube @umassmusicdance.
