The 15th annual Freedom Seder, a multicultural and interfaith celebration based on the Exodus themes of the Jewish Passover Seder, commemorates the civil rights movement and other modern liberation struggles. Through ritual, stories, poetry and music, participants learn about each other’s cultures and express yearning for multicultural unity, interfaith understanding, and the liberation of all people. People of all religious and cultural backgrounds are welcome.

University Museum of Contemporary Art
MFA Candidates of University of Massachusetts Amherst and George Washington University present a pair of collaborative exhibitions. In this exchange, each program hosts the other for an exhibition that features the graduate students in the respective Studio Art Departments. This exhibition series aims to provide a partnership between the regional art hubs of Amherst, MA and Washington D.C.
