UVC-TV 19 and the University Programming Council have teamed up to present the 8th Annual Film Festival. This evening has three parts:
It begins with the announcement and screening of winning student films submitted to the Film Festival at 5:30PM. Immediately following the presentation of awards the Academy Awards winning film, Inside Job, will be screened at 6:15PM. Finally, at 8:00PM, Professors Kevin Anderson (Communications and Anthropology), Sut Jhally (Communications), and Ben Branch (Finance) will discuss documentary filmmaking and the issues presented in the film.
Catering will be provided by Greeno's Sub Shop and People's Market.
