
The legendary filmmaker and digital multimedia artist Chris Marker challenged audiences with meditations on time, memory, and the pace of modern life. Two restored high-definition digital transfers screen in his memory: LA JETÉE, a tale of time travel in still images (France, 1963, 27 min, b/w), and SANS SOLEIL (France, 1983, 103 min), his classic essay film on the passage of time.
