New Employee Training on Harassment and Discrimination
At this three hour training we will do a thorough overview of the policies and procedures dealing with Sexual Harassment and Discrimination. We will also review what is sexual harassment, discrimination, what is a disability, what are the laws that are relevant to it, how to address it, and what are the responsibilities of employees and their supervisors as it pertains to addressing harassment and discrimination. This training will be conducted by Debora D. Ferreira, Executive Director of EO&D and Madeline L. Peters, Director of Disability Services.

Sexual Harassment Training
This three hour training is open to ALL UMass Employees. It focuses on important aspects of sexual harassment such as: what constitutes sexual harassment, the laws that protect against sexual harassment, an overview of the Sexual Harassment Policies and Procedures, who is affected by sexual harassment, what steps to take as an individual and as a supervisor to address sexual harassment. This training will be conducted by Debora D. Ferreira, Executive Director of EO&D.
