Affirmative Action Statement - New Appointments
1. Brief description of position(s) to be filled and qualifications required. (For professional non-academic positions, attach a copy of the job description. For faculty positions, note below or attach an explanation of the specialty of the discipline, classes covered, research personnel needs, etc., and qualifications and experience required.)
2. Search committee members or those responsible for interviewing (Include job title, ethnic/race, sex, veteran and disability status as volunteered by each member.)
3. List all sources through which the position was advertised (Include newspapers, journals, universities, professional organizations, announcements at conferences, social agencies, telephone contacts.)
4. Detailed description of the process used by committee in selecting candidate(s). (Use separate pages, if necessary. At minimum, cover or include: criteria used, decision- making process including how feedback from any secondary interviews was used, rating system, attention to diversity factor.)
