First of all, ask yourself what causes diseases. Can insects really cause diseases? No! Insects by themselves cannot cause diseases of humans. What causes the diseases are viruses, bacteria, nematodes and fungi. It is these agents that are carried, or as we say vectored, by the insect that cause the disease. By not understanding this, individuals often give insects more importance than they deserve when it comes to the causation of various diseases.
