MFA Alumni Jane Dykema ('15) and Jung Yun ('07) were recipients of 2016 Mass Cultural Council Artist Fellowships in Fiction. Jung Yun is the author of the critically aclaimed novel Shelter (Picador, 2016), and Jane Dykema has published work in Big Big Wednesday, Route Nine,and Microchondria. 

Awarding fellowships since 1975, the MCC's Artist Fellowships "recognize exceptional work by Massachusetts artists across a range of disciplines. These highly competitive awards provide artists crucial validation among their peers and the public" and "catalyze artistic advancement and pave the way for creative innovation of enduring cultural value."
