Founded in the early 90s as the English Club, today's UMass English Society is the student division of the English Department. The English Society has evolved from the best-kept secret of Bartlett to a noticeable, dynamic body open to all UMass students. Although a chiefly undergraduate club, graduate students are also welcome. With past and current members associated with nearly every school and department at UMass,everyone is encouraged to join the society.
