Alumni of the Professional Writing and Technical Communication certificate program visited English 382 to talk with students about careers in technical writing—and the perks of a pet-friendly workplace.
All English majors are encouraged to meet with their faculty advisor every semester before registering for classes. Students enrolled in ENGL 200 must meet with their advisor.
The English major prepares students to write and speak well, to think analytically and critically, and to solve problems quickly, all of which are required and sought after in today's 21st century job market.
