Sarah Manlove ('20) Awarded Best Health and Wellness Hack for Self-Developed Android App

Sarah Manlove, who is currently pursuing a specialization in Professional Writing and Technical Communication, attended Codestellation earlier this month. Codestellation is an annual hackathon hosted by Brandeis Univerisity and organized by BITMAP (Brandeis Initiative for Machines, Apps, and Programming).
Working with a team of other UMass students, Manlove helped to create an Android App called Keep Breathing. The app helps people experiencing a panic attack follow guided breathing exercises. Rocket Software, a software development firm, awarded Manlove's team the Best Health and Wellness Hack.
