Kate Litterer, a current doctoral student who also received her MFA in Poetry ('10) and MA in Rhetoric and Composition ('13) from the English department, has been awarded an LGBTQ Research Fellowship from the ONE Archives Foundation. As a research fellow, Kate will work with the Lisa Ben papers at the ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Her dissertation investigates how Ben's writing, in a variety of genres, contributed to the development and circulation of queer rhetorics during the 1940s and 1950s.
