Assistant Professor
Rachel Mordecai has a BA from Brandeis University (1990), an MA from the University of the West Indies (1997), and a PhD from the University of Minnesota (2007). Her primary areas of teaching and research interest are Caribbean literature and multicultural American literature. Beyond these, her research interests include African Diaspora literature; history, memory and narrative; autobiography and testimonio ; and ethnography in literature.
