Students Curate "Dis/playing Dis/ability," a Virtual Art Exhibition

portrait of a person with a disability

In collaboration with the University Museum of Contemporary Art, students in Professor Janis Greve’s  "(Dis)ability and Literature" course (English 300, sec. 01) explored the juncture between disability and art by choosing works from the museum's permanent collection around the theme of human vulnerability. 'Dis/playing Dis/ability,' connects voices and observations from a range of art works, highlighting the act of looking, ideas of the norm, and thought-provoking ideas of the human form.  The exhibit can be viewed online at the MCA website.
