MFA students from the University of Massachusetts teaching for the WITS project during the 2002/2003 school year include:

Aileen Jones
Aileen lives in Amherst, Massachusetts, where she teaches writing at UMass. She is the recipient of the 2001 and 2002 Harvey Swados Fiction Prizes and has short fiction forthcoming in The MacGuffin and Rhino. In addition to her work with WITS, Aileen has taught creative writing for middle school students through a summer program at Amherst College.

Nick Moudry
Prior to working for the Writers in the Schools project, Nick Moudry taught poetry writing to teenage mothers in Holyoke, MA.  His poems, translations and criticism have appeared in numerous magazines, including Boston Review, Fence, Iowa Review and jubilat.  He lives in Northampton, MA and edits baffling combustions.
