Thank you for everyone who came to our last meeting of the year! Also congratulations to our graduating seniors and thank you for your time and commitment, we wish you well in all your future endeavors!
A few things to think about as we go into the summer:
Please stay in contact with Chris if you are around to do summer shifts.
Also talk with Peter if you are able to TA during the summer
BIO-Hazards need to be disposed of properly in the bio-bin in the office.
When working a shift with an Incident Commander (IC), they are in charge and you
are to follow their instructions at all times unless your safety is compromised!
Please keep up with run reports, all boxes need to be completed and patient
care/refusals thoroughly documented.
All of the officers are going home for most of the summer, so you need to keep
up on signing out keys because we will not necessarily be close by!
I will post our meeting schedule for next semester online soon! Good
luck on finals and try not to get sun burnt this summer!
To the new members of the unit: Welcome!
If you haven't picked up your shirts, please do so ASAP, after the last meeting they will be sold to other people!
UMass EMS must have up to date certification and license information on hand for each member. If your information is outdated or missing please contact either Matt Viana or Joe McGrath so this can be resolved ASAP. Anyone with expired or outdated files will not be able to pick up shifts.
If people have ideas for other trainings that they would like to see happen, please email your thoughts, so we can begin to plan for next semester!
Please remember to sign out and return your keys and lock all the doors!
If you cannot staff a shift, it is up to you to find a replacement!
Any other questions or if you have a conflict with this schedule please let one of the directors know. Thanks everyone and enjoy the warm weather!
