The College of Education will host Pat Griffin ’80 EdD, a National LGBTQ and athletics educator, activist, UMass Amherst professor emerita and alumna, for a talk on The Changing Sports Climate for LGBTQ Athletes and Coaches: Successes and Challenges followed by a public reception on October 19.

October 27, 2012 - The portrait of Dwight W. Allen was unveiled during UMass Amherst Homecoming 2012.

The portrait was commissioned by Dr. Timothy Taylor (Ed.D. 2004) as a gift to the College of Education and to honor the legacy of his mentor, the school's former Dean.
