Student Group
The University of Massachusetts Amherst had an enrollment in the fall of 2008 of 26,360 students, of whom 5820 were graduate students. There were 829 graduate students in the School of Education. The University has a diverse student body and is committed to the principles of affirmative action, civility, equal opportunity, and the free exchange of ideas. The School actively recruits and supports students from minority groups.
