Re-visioning our schools, a school reform project aimed at developing a new approach to implementing district wide school change strategies. A contract with the Amherst Regional Public School District, September 1996 - June 1997, $5,000.

Parent-teacher communication, a study of communication patterns between teachers and parents during conferences. A Faculty Research Grant from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, April 1995-March 1996, $4,200.

Recipient of a University of Massachusetts/Amherst Faculty Service Learning Fellowship award, to further develop and teach a school counseling program course with a community service component, April, 1995, $2,000.

Exploratory study of African-American parental perceptions at their involvement in their children's education. A grant from the Institute of Race and Ethnicity, University of Wisconsin, Systems, June 1988, $5,000.
