Brunhilda DeLeon, Ed.D. Associate Professor
on sabbatical, will be back in Fall 98

Background: Dr. DeLeon received an MSW from the University of Puerto Rico and her Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts.  Her expertise is in psychoeducational assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans and educational strategies for children with special needs.

Current Activities: Projects involving cross-cultural and bilingual assessment and evaluation of children and career opportunities for minority students, gender roles, and multicultural health services.

Teaching Interests:  Dr. DeLeon is currently teaching psychoeducational and cognitive assessment courses and supervising students through the Assessment and Research Training Unit (ARTU).

Research Interests: Dr. DeLeon's research and publications have focused on bilingual and cross-cultural multicultural mental health services.
