Full-Time Lecturers
The School of Education invites applications for three Lecturer positions in the Department of Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies. These are one year, full-time, benefited appointments. The English Education and ESL/Reading Licensure positions are academic year (9 month) appointments. The Elementary and Early Childhood position is a calendar year (12 month) appointment.
Lecturer – English Education

Duties: Academic Advisor for English Educator licensure students, teach courses; liaison with English Department and Western Massachusetts Writing Project.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Education or related field with specialization in English Education, Social Studies Education or Teacher Education; knowledge of Commonwealth of Massachusetts educator licensure requirements; teaching experience in K-12 schools and for pre-service and in-service teachers; excellent organizational and communication skills; excellent technology and database skills including facility with, or ability to be facile with on-line assessment system.
Lecturer - Coordinator of ESL/Reading Licensure

Duties: Coordinate English as a Second Language and Reading Specialist licensure programs; teach courses; liaison with campus departments.
Qualifications: Doctorate in Education or related field with specialization in English as a second language; knowledge of Commonwealth of Massachusetts educator licensure requirements, teaching experience in K-12 schools and for pre-service and in-service teachers; excellent organizational and communication skills; excellent technology and database skills including facility with, or ability to be facile with on-line assessment system.
Lecturer “A” - Coordinator of Elementary and Early Childhood Educator Licensure
