Boscardin named pres-elect of CASE

Mary Lynn Boscardin, Chair and Professor of the Department of Student Development, was elected President-Elect of the Council of Administrators of Special Education (CASE), a 5500 member international professional educational organization which is one of the thirteen divisions of the International Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). The mission of the CASE is to provide leadership and support to local and state directors of special education, state and federal education agency directors, and state and federal legislators by shaping policies and practices which impact the quality of education for students with exceptionalities and their families. Being elected to this office represents a six year commitment to CASE as she serves as President-Elect for two years followed by President for two years, and then Past-President. Prior to serving as President-Elect, Dr. Boscardin was editor of the CASE Journal of Special Education Leadership for 14 years.
