Professional Development Trends in Massachusetts Schools (2001)

In May 2001, the Office of Educator Quality of the Massachusetts Department of Education contacted the Center for Education Policy to request a "quick survey" of professional development directors in local school districts in order to respond to a request for information from the Massachusetts Board of Education and as a baseline for Department planning.

In approximately one month, the Center for Education Policy was able to collect survey data from 53 professional development directors and write a report on issues and trends in the field.
