The Center for Education Policy is a research and outreach entity of the School of Education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

The Center for Education Policy:

• connects faculty and graduate student research expertise with policymakers who need information;
  
• gathers and analyzes information relevant to the development and evaluation
  of educational policies and programs;
  
• provides a forum for the discussion of important issues in education;
  
• helps to identify, examine, assess and recommend policy alternatives in
  education; and
  
• conducts independent reviews and research on education policy issues.
