Concentrations

The Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies Department has three doctoral concentrations. All three concentrations have a teacher education and school improvement focus. Prospective students should apply to the concentration that reflects their interests.

Doctoral (Ed.D.) degrees are offered in the following areas of concentration:

Master's (M.Ed.) degrees are offered in the following areas:

Learning, Media and Technology

• TEACH Collaborative Teacher Education Pathway (CTEP)

Language, Literacy and Culture Master's

Mathematics, Science and Learning Technologies

• Science Education Online

Secondary Teacher Education

• Secondary Teacher Education Program (leading to Massachusetts Initial Licensure in Middle School or High School)
  • TEACH Bridges to the Future Pathway (leading to Massachusetts Initial Licensure in Middle School or High School)
  • TEACH 180 Days in Springfield Pathway (leading to Massachusetts Initial Licensure in Middle School or High School)

The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) is offered in the following areas:
