TEACH   TEACH UMASS AMHERST
Welcome to the UMass Amherst School of Education’s alternative routes to certification (i.e., licensure). Alternative routes are intensive, non-traditional pathways to certification that are authorized under the State’s laws or regulations. Our pathways are selective in accepting candidates, provide supervised, school-based experiences and ongoing support such as effective mentoring and coaching, and upon completion, award the same level of certification as traditional preparation programs.

TEACH Collaborative Teacher Education Pathway (CTEP) - Early Childhood and Elementary Licensure

TEACH 180 Days in Springfield: Secondary Teacher Education Pathway - Massachusetts’ 1st alternative secondary teacher education program

TEACH Bridges to the Future - Secondary Teacher Education Pathway
Serving six districts in the predominately rural Franklin County in Western Massachusetts.
