K-12 Professional Development

Professional development programs and courses are offered year-round, on- and off-site. Some courses and programs are offered through distance learning, and many are offered at convenient times on evenings or weekends.

The following School of Education special initiatives offer a Master of Education Degree, Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study, Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Licensure, or professional development:

• 180 Days in Springfield Project (Master of Education)
  
• Collaborative Teacher Education Program (Master of Education, leading to Massachusetts Initial Licensure in Early Childhood or Elementary Education)
