Laila Garsys

Laila is currently attending the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She is a Social Thought and Political Economy major with a minor in Education. Aside from her job at the School of Education, Laila also works as an Archivist/Special Students Asst. for the Special Collections and Archives Department located in the WEB DuBois Library at UMass. While not working for the university, Laila is currently the teacher of History of Rennaissance Science and
vocal coach at North Star Center for Learning (Home-schooled teens). Upon graduating, she is striving for her Masters in Education where she will eventually become a high school teacher.
