Application Form for Fall, 2009

Instructions: Please complete this application and submit by September 15, 2009 by 5:00PM. To be eligible for consideration for a position as an Eco-Rep, you must have an interest in current environmental issues and are willing to educating your peers about such issues. Also, freshman, upperclassmen living in Greenough, Chadbourne, Baker, Brett, Brooks, Gorman, Wheeler, Field, Grayson, Prince or Crampton or upperclassmen willing to be an Eco-Rep for an all first year dorm or any of the mixed year dorms listed above will be given priority.

The Eco-Rep Program seeks motivated individuals who can work both collaboratively and independently and see projects through to completion. Please describe a situation from your past that shows your ability to work in these ways.
ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENTS Please list your anticipated time commitments for next academic year (e.g. class time, study time, employment, work-study jobs, volunteer work, athletics, student organizations, etc.). Include an estimate of the number of hours weekly it will take as well as your role within each commitment. Please know that we have mandatory weekly meetings each month (this semester they will run from 6:00PM-7:00PM). How many academic credits are you enrolled in for Fall, 2009?
PLACEMENT Our first choice is for students to be Eco-Reps for the building in which they reside. In some cases, students may be asked to be an Eco-Rep for a building in which they do not live. Please state your preference below: I am only interested in being an Eco-Rep for my building.
