    Course Syllabus for Fall 2001

    Instructor: John Tristan, M.S., HTR

    Course Description: The aesthetic enrichment of the indoor environment through plants. Emphasis on plant groups useful inside the home; their proper identification, propagation, and general cultural requirements. Techniques involved in creating indoor flowering and foliage displays, hanging baskets, dish gardens, mini-propagators, light gardens, and terrariums. Representative flower crops applied to floral arrangements (fresh and dried);cut flower care in the home. Practical experience in greenhouse projects during lab sessions.
