Diversity Career Summit: Where Inclusion Meets Innovation
January 12-13, 2021 (virtual)

On January 12 and 13, the Higher Education-Workforce Subnetwork hosted this summit. Thirty-five students attended participating in a series of skill-building workshops and panels. (Sixty-two students from 21 colleges and universities registered.) The workshops and keynote featured several of our REBLS industry partners--Citizens Bank, Dell Technologies, Facebook, HubSpot, Liberty Mutual, MathWorks, and Raytheon Technologies. The panels included student voices from UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, and WPI.

"I enjoyed learning new skills and things to really think about such as building my brand so that I can market myself and what type of imprint would I like to leave behind once I leave someone's presence."

The combination of panels, workshops and powerful keynote address provided students from underrepresented minorities in tech skills and connections to launch a career in industry.
