Maria Fernandez was a 2007-2008 Doctoral Research Fellow with the National Center for Digital Government. Fernandez is currently a PhD student in the Department of Natural Resources Conservation at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Maria assisted with the development and teaching of an online open source geographic information system course under the direction of Associate Director Schweik.
