From May 30 to June 1, 2002,
Prof. Jane
Fountain and the Center for Business and Government hosted a two day national workshop to develop a long-range, basic research program on digital government.
The workshop was made possible due to the generous support of three National Science Foundation programs: the Digital Government Program and the Digital Society and Technologies Program, both in the Computer & Information Science & Engineering Directorate, and the Political Science Program, based in the Directorate of Social, Behavioral and Economic Sciences, under award #EIA-0203085, which was awarded in January
2002.
