Synopsis:

The Earth has received a distress signal from the planet TEM 4. The commander of the rescue mission, Akala, lands her spaceship Cynro on TEM 4, but there is no sign of any emergency. The ruler of the planet instead gives their guests a great feast, the contents of which are drugged.  He is then able to manipulate them. The navigator, Suko, who remained on board during the feast, notices this manipulation and attempts to uncover the secrets of the planet. He discovers a mine in which the Turi, the true natives of TEM 4, must perform slave labor. The distress signal originally came from them. The astronauts are now faced with the question of how to both help the Turi while also undermining their leader. During a fight against enemy forces, Suko gets killed. The others leave on the spaceship while the Turi prepare to strike back.
