Synopsis:

After his return to Germany following the Second World War, Bertolt Brecht created a new era of drama and literature. His next seven years in the GDR were marked by an eagerness for action and an outpouring of new ideas. He turned the theater world inside out when he created a genre called “epic theater” which was unlike anything else of the time.
