Sexual assault reported in 1 out of 4 college women

A new report released by the Association of American Universities (AAU) reveals that nearly 1 in 4 college women report being sexually assaulted while at college. Students identifying as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or gender non-conforming are at the highest risk of experiencing sexual violence. CWC Staff discuss the survey results with Channel 22. Amherst pyschologist's new book sheds light on emotional abuse

Lisa A. Fontes, University Without Walls, has written a new book, "Invisible Chains: Overcoming Coercive Control in Your Intimate Relationships." Also commenting in the story are Rebecca Lockwood, Center for Women and Community, Genny Beemyn, director of the Stonewall Center, and Lt. Robert Thrasher of the UMass police.
