The Center for Teaching & Faculty Development (CTFD) offers a wide range of programs and services that respond to individual instructors’ needs; encourage the creation of learning communities; advance new initiatives in student learning and teaching; support diversity and inclusion; and promote a University culture that values and rewards teaching. The work of the CTFD includes:
- Consultations for individual instructors;
- University-wide orientations/workshops;
- Intensive, year-long programs;
- Grants for individuals;
- University and college teaching awards;
- Identification of resources;
- Publications; and
- Customized services for departments.
