Brian Baldi

Brian Baldi is the Senior Project Manager for the Office of Faculty Development. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from the University of California Berkeley and a Master’s of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.

More recently, Brian served as the interim Assistant Director of the Center for Teaching at UMass Amherst, where he oversaw a campus-wide midterm assessment process for established faculty, new faculty, and graduate teaching assistants. He also consulted with instructors on pedagogy and teaching portfolios. In addition, Brian has taught English at both UMass Amherst and Marlboro College in Vermont.

Brian’s fiction, nonfiction and poetry have been published in the AWP Writer’s Chronicle, The Massachusetts Review, ZYZZYVA and Denver Quarterly.
