Students

Becoming involved with Community Service Learning puts you in the company of engaged, proactive, and passionate colleagues.

Many students have the desire to get outside the classroom – to connect with the community, be involved with social justice issues or synthesize their academic coursework with real world experiences. Perhaps you are one of these students? If so, CSL can help you find a niche.

UMass Amherst offers many opportunities for doing service. You may get involved with service as a volunteer, through a work-study opportunity or for credit, as part of a UMass or Five College course. The links on this page will help you discover the opportunities available to you. If you have more questions and want to meet with someone from the CSL office, please email us at servelearn@acad.umass.edu
