About us

The UMass Amherst Community Service Learning office is located in the Learning Resource Center on the 10th floor of the W.E.B. Du Bois Library.

We are here to support faculty members and community-based organizations in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial partnerships that address community identified needs and enrich the academic learning experience for UMass students. We are also available to meet with students who want to explore how CSL opportunities can be integrated into their UMass experience.

In addition to the resources available on this web site, there is an annual Community Service Fair each September, providing a time where community-based organizations set-up information tables to network with students, faculty and others from the campus community. There are also occasional Faculty Forums and student-oriented CSL Connect functions where information and mutual support can be found.
