The Community Service Learning office is here to connect students, faculty and community organizations in mutually beneficial community-based learning opportunities that are meaningful and sustainable, whether the partnership is directly linked to an academic course or is co-curricular.

If you are a student, a faculty member, or a community-based organization we want to help discover how you can be involved in community-based learning.

UMass Amherst has a history of community service since its inception as a land grant institution in 1863 and has been designated by the Carnegie Foundation as a Community-Engaged University.
