How to Start a New RSO
If you don’t find a student organization that fits your needs, you and your like-minded friends can start a new one.
The process is not complicated, but it will take a little work. After deciding who you want to be, your group will need to fill out a registration packet from the Student Government Association (available in the SGA Office in room 420 of the Student Union Building), which must include a mission statement and a set of future goals. You will then need to elect a board of officers, create a constitution, and you’re on your way.
