Cranberry Station Farm and Grounds Manager (R25406)

The University of Massachusetts Cranberry Station (www.umass.edu/cranberry) has a full time/fully benefited position available. Benefits include vacation, retirement, medical, and dental.

Duties: Under the general supervision of the Cranberry Station Director, manage State Bog and Rocky Pond Bog (18 acres); maintain buildings and building security; maintain grounds and greenhouses; oversee and maintain Station vehicle fleet; perform administrative duties including supervision of 2 employees; maintain bog records; apply pesticides.

Qualifications: Experience in agricultural work; valid drivers license; ability to prioritize and organize tasks; ability to supervise staff; basic computer skills; and knowledge of farm equipment and basic plumbing/electrical/carpentry.

Salary $1,194.82/biwkly
