Kerb Approved for 2005 Season

I have recieved notice that EPA has granted approval for the use of Kerb for dodder control for the 2005 season.  Please recall that Kerb is now a Zone 2 material!  You will need to notify MDAR within 30 days of application if your bogs are in a Zone 2.  To use Kerb within a Zone 2, you will need to document that you have no other alternative and must follow an IPM program (and document it).  If this is your situation, you could use Page 4 of the February 2005 Cranberry Station newsletter as confirmation from me that alternatives may not exist for you.

If you have any questions involving using Kerb in a Zone 2, please call me at ext. 21.

The 2005 label is NOT available yet.  I will make it available to our local ag suppliers as soon as I receive it from Dow.
