If you are struggling with an eating disorder, we can help evaluate your treatment needs and refer you to community providers or resources for on-going treatment.
For an eating disorder evaluation, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with a physician and nutritionist at the University Health Services, at (413) 577-5101.
Your session begins with a 45-minute meeting with a nutritionist, who will discuss your diet history with you. You will then meet with a physician for a 30-minute medical evaluation. Finally, you and the team will meet together to develop a plan.
Before your appointment, you’ll need blood tests. If you’ve had blood work within the past two weeks, ask your provider to fax the results to us, at (413) 577-5440. Otherwise we’ll order tests at the UHS lab before your appointment.
After being evaluated by the health service providers, you may want to meet with a counselor at CCPH to discuss your treatment needs, and explore community resources.
